New Collector Car Auction Announces Dates and Location
(Tulsa, OK – Monday, May 24, 2021) – Maple Brothers Auto Auction, LLC will host their first collector car auction, August 6th and 7th in the Delta Marriott Allen Convention Center in Allen, TX. Based in Tulsa, OK, Maple Brothers was established by Ty Young, former General Manager of Leake Auction Company, Bill Hanks and his daughter and son-in law Ryan and Richard Maple.
Ty Young will serve as the company’s General Manager. Over the last 17 years, Ty has been involved in all business aspects of Leake Auction Company. “I am thrilled to lead the team at Maple Brothers Auctions,” Young stated. “Our team consists of many familiar faces from the collector car auction world. We truly understand that trust is a key element when deciding where to sell a vehicle. We are ready to work hard for every client, achieving the best results possible.”
Bill Hanks attended Leake Auctions as a young boy with his father. During one auction, he remembers meeting Mr. Leake for the first time. “I was captivated by his presence,” Bill recalls. “The next year Mr. Leake approached my father and I and addressed me by name. I was so impressed that he not only took the time to speak to me, but also remembered my name. His simple act of kindness has always resonated with me and further developed my love for classic car auctions.”
When presented with the opportunity to start a collector car auction, it was a simple ‘Yes’ for Hanks and Maple. “Mr. Leake established a tremendous legacy that he passed down. Ryan and I have three young sons and look forward to bringing them into the business one day,” explained Richard Maple. “Elliott, Myles, and Max are the Maple Brothers,” states the boys’ mother, Ryan.
With a background on Wall Street and event promotions, Hanks knew they needed a knowledgeable staff with car auction experience. “We have a team of industry experts who are enthusiastic and ready to get back to the basics of classic and collector car auctions. Our goal is to deliver the best buying and selling experience for every client. With Ty Young at the helm, I am confident we will achieve our goals.”
